Transformative partnerships to end hunger

Uniting to transform global nutrition

We’re committed to closing the micronutrient gap of 800 million to advance opportunities for individuals, communities and countries – but we can’t do this alone. That’s why we cultivate transformative partnerships that extend across governments, NGOs, United Nations agencies, research institutions, academia, donors, and businesses.

Our aim is to create a nutrition system transformed by public-private collaboration to end hidden hunger for all by 2030.

Through scientific research, advocacy, capacity building, program implementation, and regulatory monitoring we bring together the resources and expertise of diverse stakeholders a common purpose. That’s how we develop innovative, inclusive business models that truly empower the communities that need it most.

Public sector partnerships that support the way for change

With our expertise in food fortification, supplementation, and nutritional education support governments and UN agencies to improve nutrition through public health programs and targeted interventions.

A vital role for the private sector

To overcome barriers to nutrient access, private businesses like ours can share technical expertise, innovation capabilities and distribution channels.

Collaborating to meet nutritional needs

From scientific research and technical guidance to micronutrient premixes, we help our partners at every stage to develop impactful, nutritious products.

Advocacy, raising awareness and delivering essential aid

Alongside our partners, we break down successful nutritional interventions and share stories from the field to inspire others to join us in our mission.

Making a positive impact globally – one nutritional intervention at a time

We work tirelessly with leading public health partners like the World Food Programme and World Health Organization. Together, we continue to advocate for and bring innovative and high-quality science-backed nutritional interventions to undernourished populations around the world.

The World Food Programme

We co-create over 10 nutritious, fortified foods with the WFP and increasing local production capacity.1,2

Bangladesh

We supported 70 SMEs in Bangladesh with the WFP to build local production capacity and give over 7 million people access to fortified rice.

Nigeria

We partnered with UNICEF, Sight and Life and the Government of Nigeria to scale up its micronutrient powder program, reaching millions of mothers and children.3

Across the Global South

With World Vision we delivered staple food fortification and bold new public health initiatives in countries like Brazil, Rwanda, Indonesia, Kenya and Ethiopia.4

Three nutritional intervention strategies

One common success factor: public-private collaboration.
