Pioneered by dsm-firmenich, Firgood® technology is a patented process that enables the processing of biomasses never previously used in the industry of natural ingredients.
This groundbreaking technology uses electromagnetic waves to extract the odorant-carrying water inside a precious raw material. The results are radically pure, 100%-natural, and solvent-free extracts that are better for the planet. Residues can be upcycled or reused to create new products with complimentary profiles.
Now, we've successfully scaled up from a lab and pilot plant to two industrial lines, offering production capacity ranging from hundreds of kilograms to several tons of primary extracts. The development of this brand-new industrial facility in our Naturals Center of Excellence in Grasse reinforces our continued leadership in naturals.
