dsm-firmenich strengthens capabilities in end-to-end Premix Solutions

• dsm-firmenich has opened a newly extended premix manufacturing facility in Buk, Poland.
• The state-of-the-art plant is the latest example of dsm-firmenich’s ongoing investment into its end-to-end premix capabilities, to serve customers active across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
• Buk² will enable dsm-firmenich to further improve service levels and reduce lead times, while supporting the development of tailored, purpose-led premix solutions for consumers requiring special care.

The Buk² site sets a new standard of quality in premixes for Early Life Nutrition, as well as being fully equipped to serve customers in the Medical Nutrition and Nutrition Improvement end markets. From young to old, demand for tailored nutritional premix solutions for consumers requiring special care continues to grow – whether it be medical nutrition for patients, immunity products for elderly consumers, or specialized nutrition for infants and young children.

With the addition of new dedicated premix production lines, Buk² will help meet growing demand for reliable and even faster supply of premixes, using advanced mixing technology to develop tailored formulas for challenging applications. Ideally located to serve markets across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, the Buk site builds on dsm-firmenich’s leadership and expertise in innovation, manufacturing and quality to provide an enhanced level of end-to-end customer support.

The extended site was officially opened at an online ribbon-cutting ceremony, where attendees enjoyed a virtual tour of the facility. A presentation explored dsm-firmenich’s premix solutions and explained how the new facilities will take its capabilities to the next level.
