Vitamin A Überblick
Vitamin A ist ein Oberbegriff für eine Gruppe von fettlöslichen Verbindungen, die mit Retinol verwandt sind. Das Carotinoid "Beta-Carotin" wird am effizientesten in Retinol umgewandelt und ist damit eine wichtige Form von Vitamin A. Eine ausreichende Zufuhr dieses Nährstoffs ( ) kann zur Verbesserung der Sehkraft (insbesondere der Nachtsicht), des Wachstums und der Entwicklung sowie der Immunfunktion beitragen und sich auch positiv auf die reproduktive Gesundheit auswirken.
