Global feed additive manufacturer, dsm-firmenich, announces that the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has recognized CRINA® Poultry Plus as a safe and effective zootechnical additive. Marking a milestone in the authorization process for additives in animal nutrition, this recent opinion validates the safety of CRINA Poultry Plus and its beneficial effects on gut health and growth rate in poultry.

CRINA Poultry Plus has been proven by a number of scientific studies to significantly improve feed conversion, increase live weight gain and support the reduction of pathogenic bacteria in poultry. This important endorsement in the European holder-specific authorization process is the result of successful dsm-firmenich research and innovation and restates dsm-firmenich’s ability to support producers in their drive for improved profitability in the post-antibiotic era.

Christophe Paulus, Global Eubiotics Category Manager at dsm-firmenich, comments: “This important step in the European authorization confirms dsm-firmenich’s position as a leading innovator in the animal feed industry. This scientific evaluation is the official recognition of CRINA Poultry Plus as a zootechnical additive that delivers clear benefits to poultry producers"
