Sustainability was the first impression I had of DSM. My story with DSM can be traced back to three years ago. When waiting at the reception area for an job interview, I randomly picked a booklet from the bookshelf. It was a report called DSM China Sustainability Annual Report, which detailed DSM China’s annual performance and results for People, Planet and Profit. I still remember how impressed I was when reading this report. Through the figures and stories, I can feel that this company really regards sustainability as it core value. After joining DSM, I witnessed how DSM implements sustainability in everything we do, from new product development to daily operations. By participating in some of the initiatives, I’m very proud now to be a part of the sustainability stories myself.
The regional roll-out of the WE MAKE IT POSSIBLE positioning is one of the key priorities of our team this year. As a new comer to the ANH organization, this campaign is very educational for me, enabling in-depth understanding of the purpose and ambition of our business. 2020 is a tough year for people all around world, but I believe the internal roll-out of this campaign gives strengthen to many of us, knowing that at DSM ANH, our collective efforts will play a key role in the transformation of the industry by providing tangible and measurable solutions to create brighter lives for all. I’m also now excited to ignite the passion among our customers and attract more stakeholders from the value chain to join our journey towards a more sustainable future.
The WE MAKE IT POSSIBLE new positioning supports our ambition to be the world leader in animal nutrition & health, providing tangible and measurable solutions to our customers so together we can tackle the biggest challenges facing society & the animal protein industry, making animal producers proud again of their efforts to feed the world. At DSM, we strongly believe in sustainable food systems and that the livestock industry can transform itself from within to be a part of the solution.
