Ames, Iowa

The Ames plant first opened in 1965, and has been in the dsm-firmenich family since 2003.  It is 46,000 square feet and runs three shifts a day, five days a week and twenty four hours a day.  Currently employing 34 people, a large portion of the plant’s production serves customers in Iowa.  Ames manufactures vitamin and mineral premixes and vitamin concentrations for all species, including pets.

Ayr, Ontario

The Ayr plant first opened in 1980, and has had updates in 1994 and 1997. It is 39,000 square feet and runs two shifts, four days a week. Currently employing 12 people, the plant’s production serves customers throughout Canada and the Northeast for regular premix production and all of North America for water soluble premix production. Ayr is also the home ANH NAA Customer Service & Nutritional Services.

Fort Worth, Texas

The Fort Worth plant has been open since the 1960s and has had numerous upgrades since then. Fort Worth has the capability for dry and liquid blending. It is 30,685 square feet (including processing facility, office and warehouse) and runs five days a week for eight hours a day. Currently employing 20 people, the plant’s production serves customers throughout North America. Fort Worth manufactures dry vitamin and mineral premixes for all species, including pets, as well as Dispersible Liquid Concentrations (DLCs), or liquid blends.

Pendergrass, Georgia

The Pendergrass plant first opened in 1994 as a part of Roche Vitamins and Fine Chemicals, and has been in the dsm-firmenich family since 2003.  Located in the “Poultry Capital of the World,”  it runs five days a week, twenty-four hours a day.  Currently employing 34 people, the plant’s production serves customers throughout North America. Pendergrass manufactures dry vitamin and mineral premixes and vitamin concentrates for poultry, swine and ruminant feeds.
