Biosecurity

Biosecurity continues to be top of mind among the industry and virus transmission in feed and feed ingredients has become a focus of increasing research lately. As we are now in the heart of the winter months, many producers are deploying risk management strategies in their feed inputs as a tool to keep the feed secure. Good biosecurity practices help in producing a healthy herd.

In addition to what is in your feed, how your feed is transported is a component to consider. dsm-firmenich employs a comprehensive list of protocols at our sites as well as with our carriers to mitigate risk; for a full list of those procedures please contact your dsm-firmenich account representative. For more information, below are some additional published resources that are provided for scientific purposes only.
